Diminutive stature, pretty color—aptly named!

Waxy skin, slightly bumpy.

The flesh is on the softer side—not as crisp of a bite as the Mutsu, but definitely nice and dense. Thin skin but it lasts a while.

Perfumey. The flesh has a similar flavor profile to the Golden Delicious. However, the skin is more akin to a Granny Smith. The bitterness of the vegetal skin lends an interesting quality to the flavor, similiar to the Mutsu but sweeter.

If the golden delicious is a child's apple this is a teenager's apple; sweet, easy on the eyes, but enough of an edge on the flavor and texture to make it interesting.
